Dogs. You know ’em, you love ’em. Their long floppy ears. The pitter-patter of their puppy paws. Their adorable squishy faces. What’s not to love?

Truth be told, I’m “doggie-daft”, as my husband so eloquently puts it.

During my first trip to Fort William, Scotland, my husband was admiring the breath-taking beauty of the Ben Nevis mountainscape. I, however, don’t recall ever seeing a mountain. I was too busy saying hello to all the dogs walking by.
